Course Refund, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
This policy explains when a paid live-course enrollment may be cancelled, refunded, transferred or rescheduled. It supplements the Course Terms and does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
Production legal review required: this operational policy must be reviewed for the operator’s legal entity, address, governing law, consumer obligations and launch jurisdictions before commercial release.
How to request a cancellation
Send the request through the account/contact channel from the enrolled email and include the enrollment reference. The request time is when ShootGuide receives it. Do not send payment credentials. We may verify account ownership before acting.
48-hour booking review period
A learner may request a full course-fee refund within 48 hours after verified payment when the first session is still at least seven calendar days away. Payment-provider charges may be deducted only where they are actually non-refundable and applicable law permits the deduction.
More than seven days before the batch
After the 48-hour period, cancellations received more than seven complete calendar days before the first session are eligible for a full course-fee refund, less only any disclosed non-refundable provider charge permitted by law.
Three to seven days before the batch
Cancellations received between 72 hours and seven days before the first session are eligible for a 75% course-fee refund or, at the learner’s choice and subject to capacity, one transfer to a later equivalent batch.
Less than 72 hours or after commencement
Cancellations received less than 72 hours before the first session, no-shows and withdrawals after the batch begins are ordinarily non-refundable because live capacity and scheduling have been committed. We may offer a batch transfer for documented exceptional circumstances, subject to capacity and one-transfer limits.
Missed sessions
Missing individual sessions does not create a partial refund. Any recording, replacement session, notes or transfer is provided only if expressly offered. Learners should notify the instructor promptly about genuine emergencies.
Cancellation or material change by ShootGuide
If ShootGuide cancels the entire course and cannot offer an acceptable equivalent batch, the learner receives a full refund of the course fee paid. For a material schedule change, the learner may accept the new schedule, transfer to an available batch or request a full refund before attending the changed batch.
Duplicate, failed and disputed payments
Verified duplicate captures are refunded in full. A failed, abandoned or merely authorized payment is not treated as paid enrollment. Chargebacks should be used only for genuine payment disputes; fraudulent or duplicate disputes may suspend enrollment while evidence is reviewed.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are initiated to the original supported payment method. ShootGuide aims to initiate them within seven business days after approval; banks and payment providers may require additional processing time, commonly 5–15 business days. Currency conversion and external bank charges are outside ShootGuide’s control.
Promotions, coupons and taxes
Refunds are based on the amount actually paid, not the struck-through list price. A discount has no cash value. Taxes are refunded or adjusted as required by applicable law and invoicing rules.
Abuse, misconduct and statutory rights
Removal for serious misconduct, fraud, abuse or unsafe behavior may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this policy excludes mandatory rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Contact and records
Refund decisions, amounts, provider references and reasons are retained for accounting, fraud prevention and dispute handling. Production deployment must publish the operator’s legal identity, refund contact and applicable jurisdiction before accepting live payments.
Questions or notices
Use the platform’s report, permission-request or contact channel appropriate to your issue. Formal operator identity, postal address, privacy contact, copyright contact and dispute details must be added before production launch.
